Basketball Week One Recap

STATEN ISLAND, NY—There was no shortage of stellar performances during the first week of the 5^th Boro Sports Spring Basketball League as The Tysens, The Legends, The Bombers and The Revolution all posted victories. 

John of The Tysens set the pace for scoring as he netted 40 points in the opener setting the season-high for all players.

Mike Brackett of the Baby Blue Bombers was dominant on the glass, amassing 17 rebounds in a losing-effort.

The Revolutions Nick set the bar high for swipes with a league leading four steals, while Nick M of The Tysens, Matt of The Underdawgs and Joe Santaniello of the Legends lead the first week with two blocks apiece.
