Knuckleheads Blank Hitmen

by Chris Ostrow
The Knuckleheads played short-handed in the first half, but that did not stop them from blanking The Hitmen 14-0 at Bloomingdale Park.   The Hitmen knocked on the door of the end zone several times and every time they got near the goal line they either turned it over on downs or turned the ball over.
The Knuckleheads threw a spot pass late in the game to John Hood who took the ball to the two yard line. This would set up The Knuckleheads for their second score, putting the game out of reach.

The Hitmen played their best game to date but came up short.  If the Hitmen continue at this pace its only a matter of time before they notch their first win.
On the other side The Knuckleheads have continued their hot play as of late and are currently on a two game winning streak.  Quarterback Anthony Cimaglia has found his comfort zone in the pocket and has used this to connect with his set of wide recievers.
